Condominiums at North Bank Park
For many swinging singles, kid-less couples and retirees, City Hop is a chance to explore
potential Downtown digs. For those nestled in suburbia, it's a chance to look at life on the other
side-even if they're not planning to move in.
This weekend, Columbus' annual City Hop will showcase several premier Downtown locations: Condominiums at North Bank Park, City View at 3rd, Sixty Spring, The Exchange Urban Lofts, Carlyle's Watch, Neighborhood Launch, 8 on the Square, The Annex at River South and Ohio Lofts. The event, put on by the Columbus Landmarks Foundation and the Downtown Residents' Association of Columbus, is a self-guided tour of Downtown living options. This year-its 10th-the theme is "Loving Living Downtown." The weekend event begins with 10 Downtown kick-off parties at 6:30 p.m. Friday. In each of the 10 highlighted locations, guests will start the party by socializing at a reception, and then will attend three progressive parties at different homes in that specific location. Tickets cost $75 each and include free admission to Saturday's City Hop tour. A maximum of 25 tickets for site will be sold. The tour, then, runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Pedicabs and Segways will be available to rent. Tickets can be purchased at (and the tour begun at) these locations: Neighborhood Launch (50 N. 4th St.), Annex at RiverSouth, (220 S. Front St.) or Condominiums at North Bank Park (300 W. Spring St.). Tickets cost $18 the day of the event or $15 in advance. To purchase advance tickets, or kick-off party tickets, call 614-221-4508 or visit www.columbuslandmarks.org. Kristy Eckert is the editor of Capital Style. Story tools |
