If you’re on the hunt for some new goodies to make this holiday season, try looking in the pages of North Market’s newest cookbook.
More than 100 recipes make up “The North Market Cookbook: Recipes and Stories from Columbus Ohio’s Historic Market,” which also includes info on its merchants and farmers. The book is by author and restaurateur Michael Turback, with a foreward from Robin Davis, former food editor at the Dispatch.
From soups to sides, cocktails and main dishes, the second book from the market walks readers through different ways to use the fresh foods you’ll find inside 59 Spruce St.
It’s $22.95, and you’ll find it at northmarket.com and at the business office on the second floor of the market. Proceeds go to the North Market Development Authority.
